Lose the heavy clothing, grab your yoga mat, and turn up the heat.

Welcome to Bikram yoga. Also known, as "Hot yoga," Bikram was started in Los Angeles in the 1970s by Bikram Choudhury.

Today it's one of the most popular types of yoga and is often thought of as the best practices for beginners as there are only 26 Bikram poses, many of which are focused on proper alignment.

If you would like to find a Bikram class near you then check out our Bikram City Guides. We'll be adding locations so please check back if you're city isn't listed yet.
