If you spent some time at my house you would know that when I make my smoothie in the morning I pretty much throw the entire veggie drawer in there, however, sometimes a change of pace is nice. This mojito inspired smoothie is meant to be a nice treat on a hot day. The mint is cooling for the body in the summer and the coconut water is good for replenishing electrolytes lost through the sweat when it's
hot out.
Blend & enjoy!
Mojito Smoothie:
Handful of fresh mint
Protein powder
Half a banana
1/4 of an avocado
Large handful of blueberries
Juice of half or whole lime
Handful of cashews
Coconut water or water to desired consistency
