By now, you've probably heard about all the amazing health benefits of apple cider vinegar, like how it can aid in weight loss, improve digestion, regulate blood sugar, increase energy and bring more alkalinity to the body. For all these reasons and more, many health professionals recommend daily consumption of apple cider vinegar (ACV).

Here's a super simple apple cider vinegar drink that tastes good, won't shoot your blood sugar through the roof, and that you'll actually look forward to having. I make a double batch and drink it over the course of two days. In each serving, you'll be getting one and a half tablespoons of ACV in addition to an extra alkaline boost from the lime juice.

Easy, Alkalizing Apple Cider Vinegar Drink

Makes 2 (8-ounce) servings

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces organic apple juice
  • 8 ounces filtered water
  • 3 tablespoons raw, organic, unfiltered, unpasteurized apple cider vinegar (with the mother)
  • juice of ½ organic lime (about 1 tablespoon) or 2 drops lime essential oil

Preparation

Combine in a 16-ounce glass container and store in the fridge for up to one week. Best served cold.
