What does your takeout delivery order really say about your health? According to GrubHub — a lot. The online food delivery service just came out with their list of America's 50 healthiest colleges, based on data collected during the 2014-2015 school year.
The site, which gives diners a way to order directly from more than 35,000 restaurants in 900 cities, analyzed the delivery order patterns of 100 US colleges. Grubhub ranked schools based on the health conscious decisions of its students, like substituting salad for fries or asking restaurants to go light on dressing.
The University of Buffalo came out on top, and schools in New York and California snagged six of the 10 top spots. Though takeout food preferences may not be the ultimate indicator of health (ha!), they're at least an interesting window into how some people are thinking about food.
