We all know the benefits of eating seasonally — produce is at it's peak in flavor and freshness and is often cheaper too. But sometimes the brief (at least in the North Eastern U.S.) summer season gets away from us.

I've compiled a list of foods that you absolutely must eat before the summer ends. Most of these foods are perfect as-is (or with a little sprinkle of sea salt) but here are some next-level recipes to inspire you to stock up at the farmer's market.
