I just taught at an amazing studio called Happy Buddha in upstate New York. We got our yoga on all day long and after so much joy and hand balancing I was famished. The adorable owner, Kelly Kamm, took me to her favorite juice joint where she ordered the Green Smoothie. She orders it so often that they have it perfected it just for her, and let me just say—it was divine. I picked her brain for what made it so amazing and came up with the recipe below. The avocado adds an amazing creaminess while the lime and ginger gives it a refreshing kick. This is my new favorite start to the day!

In a JUICER:

1 full bunch of celery

3-4 persian cucumbers

1 apple

1/2 inch piece of ginger

2 limes

1 cup cilantro

1 cup parsley

Add juice to BLENDER with:

1 banana

2 avocados

1 cup spinach leaves

1/2 dropper full liquid vanilla stevia

Pop in a straw or gulp down. Depending on your level of tart love, you might want to go easy on the lime and ginger. Play with what suits your taste buds and always feel free to add some kind of nutritional powder for more endurance.
