1. Focus on the good.

We all just want to be seen, heard, and appreciated. One of the most loving things you can do is provide a safe place for someone to speak their own truth. You don’t need to judge them or try to convince them of anything. just be present. This support will engender more loving interactions.

2. Feel your feelings.

A powerful way to attract more positivity is to embrace whatever emotions you have. Embrace them, but master them. Don't let them master you. Acknowledging your own feelings is more important than trying to get others to feel them, too. So process your emotions and let other people process theirs—in their own ways.

3. Try to understand what you fear.

The truth is, people are terrified of what they don’t understand. Instead of lashing out at what frightens you, seek to understand it. Ask yourself why you're so afraid of certain things. What do those things really represent? What does this say about the wounds in you that need to be addressed? What does this reveal about your faith and your place in the world? There are no wrong answers. There is simply the truth within. But seeking to learn more about what scares you is the path to love and peace.

5. Commit to staying open-minded.

When you are afraid, you close yourself off to loving outcomes. Use this time to practice surrender and to deepen your faith in the bigger picture. From a spiritual perspective, everything is always in right order. If you can’t accept what is, you work to change it. But do so with grace, love, and intention.

6. Radiate love.

This should not be a time of separation. It is an opportunity for community and collaboration. This can be as simple as closing your eyes, thinking of a certain person, and sending them love.
