If there's one thing we all share in common, it's a desire for abundance: financial abundance, abundant love and connection, and an abundance of success in every other important area of life—whatever that may mean to you.

I have spent most of my life learning—and now, teaching—how to attract abundance. And what I've learned above all else is that it's an inside game. It starts with you, in you—it's a reset of the stories and mindsets and lessons we've been taught about money and relationships and work and love our entire lives. But it's not so hard to make a shift either, to reset your inner connection for more financial, relationship, and success abundance.

I'll show you. Here are just three easy exercises to help you connect more deeply to yourself, to the universe, and to greater opportunities for abundance in some of the biggest areas of your life.

1. Rewrite your money blueprint.

You are hard-wired with a money blueprint—we all are! This blueprint—a mental script that was drafted in our childhoods—dictates how we earn money, save money, spend money. And you cannot have financial abundance without a money blueprint that supports it, encourages it, and allows you to think that it's possible.

So how do you rewrite your money blueprint if it doesn't support your financial abundance? First, figure out what your blueprint is now. Think back on your childhood and ask yourself: What did I hear/see/experience about money growing up?

Then, reprogram it! Understand that the story you've been telling yourself about money is not the truth and it's self-sabotaging your financial abundance.

Finally, retrain your mind to respond supportively with regard to financial abundance, using meditation, affirmations, or just checking in regularly with yourself to maintain a healthy level of self-awareness around your relationship to money. Make this a daily practice, and soon you'll find that your relationship to money is healthier, stronger, and more abundant than ever before!

2. Write your relationship wish list.

There are a lot of valuable ways to attract more love into your life, but one of my favorite tips is to write your relationship wish list. This is not just about listing all of the superficial qualities you want in a partner; this is about having a clear vision for what it is you want in order to bring it into your life. This can (and should) be a really fun exercise! Allow yourself to let go, be honest, and get creative as you brainstorm what it is you desire in a romantic partnership.

Are you looking for someone who challenges you to grow as a person?

Have you always wanted a best friend who shares your love of dogs and meditation?

Can't live without the companionship of a like-minded fitness buff who can't wait to start a family?

Then say (or rather, write) as much! You can't attract what you aren't clear about. So know what you want—who is your soul mate? What qualities and heart-centered traits do they possess? Can you put that picture in your mind down on paper?

DO IT.

And then, let it go. While it's important to be clear, it's also important to be open to what the Universe can deliver to you—which is undoubtedly a partner beyond your wildest dreams.

3. Release to receive.

And while we're on the topic of letting go, I want to highlight my No. 1 tip for abundant success—in any area of your life: RELEASE.

  • Release resentment (that you haven't gotten it yet).
  • Release expectation (of what it should look like).
  • Release attachment (to the eventual outcome).

Just release it. That is the key to abundant success. I know it seems counterintuitive. I know it seems simplistic. And I know it also seems downright hard.

(It can be!)

But it's essential to getting what you want—money, love, success—in life! It's not always easy, of course. If it were, we'd all be doing it and we'd all live happily abundant lives with ease. But it doesn't have to be all that difficult either.

I personally practice repeating this mantra to myself: "I release so that I may receive." Often, it's as simple as repeating those words to myself until I can feel them, believe them, trust them. And know that if I continue to do this work—to rewrite my money blueprint, to write my relationship wish list, and to release attachment to or expectation of any definition of success in my life—well, I'll end up more abundant than I could have ever dreamed.

And you will too.

How will you reset your inner connection for more abundance today?
