If you're anything like me, you need a good dose of inspiration to get yourself moving once the New Year's excitement wears off. These are the spiritual teachers that consistently give me the knowledge and guidance I need to work toward the best version of myself. They may not be new or trendy, but they provide grounding insights that never cease to amaze and inspire.

Whether you're doing the dishes or riding on the train, listening to their words or reading their texts can put you in positive mind space within minutes.

1. Ralph Smart

In his YouTube channel, Diving Deep, Ralph Smart uses his background in counseling to inspire people to become the best versions of themselves. His videos come from a place of pure peace, love, and prana. He has a unique way of sharing ideas through animated facial expressions and quirky movements. Ralph speaks slowly and gracefully, and his eyes twinkle, so much so that it almost feels as if he's talking directly to you on topics that range from health and veganism to spirituality and energy healing.

2. Marianne Williamson

The incredible Marianne Williamson takes principles from spiritual guidebook The Course in Miracles and connects them to modern life. She openly shares issues happening in the world and relates them to spiritual principles. She's all about helping people connect to their divine selves while navigating the complex issues we face on Earth. Her style is authentic, honest, and direct. She is very much in her truth and connects stories from her life to her teachings. She truly holds a space of love for her listeners. Whenever Marianne says a prayer, it’s so thoughtful and graceful. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve listened to this woman and felt so much clarity afterwards.

3. Matt Kahn

You either love Matt Kahn or you hate Matt Kahn, and for me, it's pure love. His humorous approach to spirituality is so refreshing, and his videos often guide me into a blissful, joyful meditative state. At the age of 8, Matt had his first out-of-body experience where he met with various archangels—an experience that changed his life in incredible ways. His teachings are charged with insight, so it's a good idea to give each one your undivided attention.

4. Teal Swan

Teal Swan, also known as the Spiritual Catalyst, is perfect for people who are first embarking on their spiritual journey. Her early years were filled with considerable trauma and suffering, which motivated her to commit to helping others through hard times. She's relatable, authentic, and she certainly tells it how it is without any sugar-coating. She works a great deal with the shadow side of emotions and explores the importance of negative emotions. She also breaks down more abstract spiritual concepts and provides techniques on how to meditate, raise your energy, use color and sound therapy, and so much more.
