If you've read our plant-based series and are thinking about adapting a plant-based diet, these men tell you why you need to start right now!

MBG: If someone reading this is considering adapting a plant-based diet, why do they need to start right now?

Bob Harper, The Biggest Loser: Not only is it good for you (read The China Study) but it is also good for the animals and GREAT for the environment. If those 3 things don't get you motivated to at least go meatless a couple of days a week, then nothing will.

Brendan Brazier, Thrive Diet: It takes a while to adapt to. Reaping the full scope of the rewords takes even longer. so the sooner you start, the sooner you’ll benefit.

Rip Esselstyn, Engine 2 Diet: Because the time for excuses is over. It's time to get busy living or get busy dying!!!

Rich Roll, Ultraman: Because there is no time like the present and the edict “I’ll start tomorrow” never seems to work – at least with me it doesn’t. Plus, don’t you deserve to feel great and be as healthy as possible, particularly during the holidays when we all need as much energy, focus and presence of mind and body as possible? Of course you do. Not to mention saving the lives of some helpless turkeys.

Mike Anderson, Rave Diet: The major diseases affecting the country are chronic, long-term diseases which often take decades to develop. In my DVD, Eating, I interview Neil Pinckney who was scheduled for an emergency bypass because his arteries were so plugged up. Instead of surgery, he decided to switch to a 100% plant-based diet (the Rave Diet). Just seven months after changing his diet, he completed an 8 mile marathon in the middle of the pack. In other words, he was able to reverse a killer disease that had taken decades to develop in just seven months! And all it took was a simple change in diet! The body is a powerful healer but you have to feed it properly for it to heal. An acquaintance of mine almost died of a heart attack last week and ended up having triple bypass surgery. The point is, these chronic diseases tend to creep up on people slowly, and then make their presence known suddenly. Start a healthy diet now and reverse the disease so you won't have any surprises down the road.

Many thanks to this awesome group for participating! I hope you enjoyed this incredible series and are inspired to eat more plants!
