Sweet n' Crunchy Roasted Chickpeas (Gluten-Free & Vegan)
These yummy roasted chickpeas only take a few minutes and are 100 percent pure yum!
Ingredients (Serves 2)
1 (15 oz.) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
2 Tbsp. olive oil
2 tsp. agave nectar
1 tsp. white balsamic vinegar
1/6 tsp. cumin
2 Tbsp. Barlean's Flax Seeds
1 tsp. chili powder
2 Tbsp. fresh basil, finely chopped
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Gently toss chickpeas in a bowl with oil, agave nectar and vinegar. Sprinkle with cumin, flax seeds and chili powder.
Place into the oven for 40 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
Transfer to a serving bowl; sprinkle with fresh basil.
