What is your wellness philosophy?
I have a very holistic approach to wellness. Wellness to me is about nourishing and balancing the mind, body, and soul. You nourish and balance the mind by mastering your inner Mean Girl with daily meditation and positive thoughts. You nourish and balance the body by treating it like a temple and eating real, organic, fresh whole foods. You nourish and balance the soul with daily time outside in nature, breathing deeply and getting fresh air into your lungs. Also by doing what you love every day, getting sunshine on your skin, diving in the ocean, reading and learning, practicing daily self-love and self-care, playing, having fun, and laughing as often as you possibly can.
What brought you into wellness?
In 2010 I hit rock bottom and ended up in hospital with a whole host of health issues and no more candle left to burn. It was there in the hospital bed I realized how incredibly unwell and unhappy I was. I needed to turn my life around. So I did, and I made it my mission to get healthy and happy again.
What does You. We. All. mean to you?
Right now we are moving out of a 'me' cycle in time and into a ‘we' cycle. The we cycle is about creating tribes and joining together to collaborate in all areas of life. We are now realizing that WE ALL RISE TOGETHER. We thrive off connection and intimacy and we are returning back to love, which is our truth. It’s a really beautiful time to be alive. For me You. We. All means there is a conscious shift happening on earth right now, but we still need to take care of the YOU part because without a strong foundation within yourself you can’t go out and serve the world to your greatest capacity. YOU is about taking radically responsibility for yourself so you can serve the WE and ALL.
What empowers you?
I feel empowered when I am taking care of myself. When my self-love and self-care is on point. Because I can then show up fully for what empowers me most, which is serving others.
