Jeremy and Ryan Black are the brothers behind everyone's favorite açaí company, Sambazon. Here are their favorite ways to enjoy the Brazilian superfood.

Jeremy’s Favorite Açaí Bowl

My favorite way to enjoy my açaí bowl is for breakfast after a gourd of yerba mate.

Ingredients

  • 2 frozen açaí packs
  • ¼ cup of water
  • ¼ cup of organic granola
  • 2 tablespoons hemp seeds
  • 2 tablespoons coconut shavings
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa nibs
  • A handful of goji berries
  • Any fresh fruit that I have on hand (strawberries, blueberries, bananas, etc.)

Preparation

1. In a blender, puree the frozen açaí packs with the coconut water. Blend until smooth, thick, and creamy.

2. Serve immediately in a bowl, then cover with granola, hemp seeds, coconut shavings, cocoa nibs, goji berries, and fresh fruit.

Ryan’s Favorite Açaí Bowl

Ingredients

  • 2 frozen açaí packs
  • ¼ cup organic coconut water
  • ½ cup organic granola
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut shavings
  • 1 teaspoon bee pollen
  • handful of cashews and almonds
  • ½ sliced banana

Preparation

1. In a blender, puree the frozen açaí packs with the coconut water. Blend until smooth, thick, and creamy.

2. Serve immediately in a bowl, then cover with granola, coconut shavings, bee pollen, cashews, and sliced banana.
