Yogis, Cookies and Positivity -- Oh My!

Two of my favorite things in the world—yoga and cookies! Just in time for the holidays! Check out The Kitchen Yogi—an adorable duo consisting of Karen La Du and Amy Wolochowicz out of Bay Head, New Jersey. These cookie loving yogis have combined adorably asana shaped cookie cutters with organic/gluten free recipes. They also include how-to’s on postures that you can work out while you’re little baked goodies are in the oven. Nothing like a few good Navasanas (Boat Pose, aka solid ab work) before you belly up to the cookies!
Go down south a bit and you’ll find the luminous yogi, Ashley Swider, baking up a creative storm in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. This domestic goddess just opened her cookie shop, joyfully entitled, YesUmay. Her delicious cookies pack eclectic flavors such as dark chocolate, curry, gogi and sea salt. The name, YesUmay, came from her belief in positive thinking and the importance of living life to it’s fullest whether it be in yoga class or enjoying the decadence of a warm cookie created with pure love. A girl after my own heart.
Check in to kathrynbudig.com in the next few weeks for information on a cookie and yoga workshop in Charleston, SC this coming December. Yoga will be lead by yours truly and the cookies will be supplied by none other than YesUmay’s powerhouse, Ashley Swider.
The best part about all these yogis, ladies and cookies? You can enjoy from your own home regardless of what state you’re in. Order online!
Now stop reading and go eat a cookie. In headstand. I’d probably skip the milk. Enjoy!
