My life is devoted to love; to increasing both the understanding, experience and awareness of the love that surrounds us. I study, write and teach people how to recognize, cultivate and flourish with loving relationships in all aspects of living.
I am the founder and CEO of Good Clean Love, a natural consumer products company which manufactures organic and natural intimacy products. Our product line is sold nationally through outlets like Pharmaca and Whole Foods and is endorsed by physicians nationwide. I was awarded the prestigious Tom Holce prize for best developing company in 2011 by the Oregon Entrepreneurial Network.
I am the author of Love that Works: A Guide to Enduring Intimacy and columnist for several national journals, magazines and blogs. My work has been focused around the concept of sustainable love, a green philosophy of relationships which teaches the importance of valuing the renewable resources which grow in the context of loving relationships and healthy families. I have been married for 28 years to my husband Franc Strgar, a psychiatrist with whom I have the privilege to share the laboratory of love that is our life with our four children, ages 14-23.
