Maggie Lyon is a mother, writer, spirit practitioner, and meditation teacher based in New York and Hawaii. For the past 30 years, Maggie has trained intensively as a Zen Buddhist monk and Iyengar yogi. She has studied with shamans, medical intuitives, trauma experts, herbalists, nutritionists, homeopaths, astrologers, mediums, functional and integrative medicine practitioners, psychotherapists, and feminist educators alike.

She’s written extensively on wellness and spirituality for HuffPost, Positively Positive, Yoga Journal, and her own blog. In addition to her writing, Maggie works one-on-one with private clients, hosts meditation circles, and offers workshops bi-coastally.

She has a Masters in English Education, has taught high school and college English, and edited manuscripts. She also sits on the host committee for the Stanford PACS Philanthropy Summit.
