Deepika Chopra, OPTIMISM DOCTOR™️ specializes in what she coins as "evidence based manifestation", helping people live a life more congruent to what they want from a scientifically researched perspective. Dr. Chopra holds a doctorate in clinical health psychology, with a special interest in wellness and optimism. In her clinical training, Dr. Chopra studied the connection between mind/body and innovative cognitive behavioral strategies and completed her formal dissertation on the topic of optimism, positive sensory visualization and the connection to optimal well-being. With special training in the holistic practice of elevating empathy, reducing anxiety, and creating a balance within the technologically and social-media-focused world today; Dr. Chopra’s work is timely and beneficial to anyone curious about living more fully, increasing happiness and optimizing functionality and success.
Dr. Chopra helps people and corporations increase their Optimism Factor and utilizes sensory-based visualization, mindfulness, specific meditation practices as well as, goal-oriented motivational techniques to help her clients find an effective and lasting way to reach their highest potential.
Dr. Chopra completed a double postdoctoral fellowship at both UCLA and at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and has been an invited keynote speaker at many organizations such as the Livestrong Foundation, Oxford University, private forums to increase self-improvement, and the 1st international Psychology Time Theory Perspective Conference in Portugal. Dr. Chopra is also a writer and contributes regularly to publications such as Harpers Bazaar, well-being-related publications and online platforms and is very active at UCLA's healthy campus initiative and study on mental creativity. Currently, Dr. Chopra does not practice as a "traditional clinical psychologist" but, rather as coach and wellness consultant and is able to work with clients and companies all over the world, either face-to-face at her Los Angeles–based practice or via tele-video-conferencing.
