Beth Familant Bernick

Dr. Beth Familant Bernick has been a dedicated internist in Boca Raton, Florida for more than two decades, building a career centered on compassionate patient care, education, and advocacy. In July 2022, she faced a personal health challenge when she was diagnosed with invasive lobular carcinoma. She underwent a double mastectomy in August 2022, followed by two additional surgeries. Today, she is doing well and continues to embrace life with gratitude, strength, and resilience.

A passionate advocate for cancer awareness and support, Dr. Familant has been actively involved with Sharsheret since her diagnosis, sharing her story to educate, inspire, and empower others. She believes deeply in the importance of self-advocacy and informed decision-making throughout a patient's healthcare journey.

Dr. Familant is married to Dr. Brian Bernick, an obstetrician-gynecologist/biotech healthcare founder. Together they have two children, Ariella and Gabriel. Outside of medicine and advocacy, Dr. Familant enjoys staying active through tennis, running, Peloton, and fitness classes. She also loves spending time with the family's Goldendoodle, Miley, who keeps everyone entertained with her playful energy.
