I am going to show you how to make kick-ass ice cream, raw food style. It's so easy you're going to say, "That's it? This can't be right! It's too easy!" It's so easy in fact, it almost feels like you're cheating. But it's not cheating. It's just raw food, for lazy people like myself. It’s raw food that doesn’t suck. And FYI, we don’t cheat. We just enjoy making things easy for ourselves! When was the last time you had a craving for ice cream and decided to stand in the kitchen for two hours to make some and then waited eleven hours to eat it? No, that’s not how us lazy people do it. We pay a visit to your old friends Ben & Jerry instead. The thing is, Ben & Jerry always show you a real good time, but the day after you kind of feel like they force fed you a pint of heavy cream mixed with sugar and fish-shaped chocolate. And that’s not very nice. So that’s why you should try to always keep bananas in your freezer. Frozen bananas are good for many things – you can put them in your morning smoothie, for example. Or give them to children that come trick or treating (I did this one year. Can’t say we were the most popular house on the block, but it’s the thought that counts). Or - use them to make this 2-minute ice cream and eat it while watching an episode of The Office.

You’ll need: Bananas, dates, vanilla/cinnamon/raw cacao
Peel 2-3 bananas, and chop into smaller pieces. Put in a container and freeze overnight – make sure you always have some for times like these!
