Plank and squat challenges are SO last year. There's a new challenge in town, and it's one you'll actually look forward to. No sweating required, just fun, feminine, circular movement that's restorative and energizing, especially for stiff morning joints. It's simple: Starting tomorrow, wake up five minutes earlier and circle your hips 50 times (or more) in each direction. After a week, you'll be hooked.

Why hip circles? This simple, fluid movement is a fantastic total core strengthener that lubricates the spine and hip joints, and gets you out of the rut of standard straight-plane, linear motion. When you move in all directions you'll keep your back strong and healthy, your waist slim, and your organs of elimination and detoxification running smoothly.

Not sure how to circle? Learn how in the video below. While you're at it, try some bust circles to loosen up a tense upper back! Whittle your middle, tone your core, improve digestion, and decrease back and hip pain with this easy hip circle challenge.
