After returning from the Iraq war in 2003 as an Army lieutenant and struggling with the effects of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Michele began practicing yoga regularly. Experiencing the healing power of yoga and meditation inspired her to become a full time teacher in order to help others recognize and honor the light that shines within them. She spends her days practicing and teaching yoga, meditating, cooking yummy wholesome meals, and hanging out with her husband Jason, daughter Beatrix, and their two dogs and two cats.
