Linda Carroll, M.S., LMFT

Linda Carroll, M.S., LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist and board-certified life coach who has been working with couples and individuals for 35 years. She is the author of the highly acclaimed book Love Cycles: The Five Essential Stages of Lasting Love, which has been translated into four languages, and she regularly teaches relationship courses based on the Love Cycles method at wellness spa Rancho La Puerta. Her new book Love Skills, which teaches practical skills for sustaining a healthy relationship, will be published on Feb 14, 2020.

Linda holds a master’s degree in counseling from Oregon State University and has practiced psychotherapy since 1981, specializing in couples and communication. She grew up in San Francisco during the 1950s and came of age during the countercultural 1960s. From her more traditional childhood, she preserves a faith in the importance of service, mystery, and reverence for all forms of life. From her early flower-child leanings, she has maintained a belief in looking “outside the box” for approaches to healing.
