Raised in Boulder, Colorado in a household of healers, Gabe learned the importance of food as a universal language. His culinary journey began at the young age of fourteen in local Boulder restaurants. By eighteen, he was honing his skills under David Bouley at the eponymous Bouley in Tribeca. With additional experience at esteemed establishments, Eleven Madison Park, Cru and Blue Hill at Stone Barns, Gabe has also been a private chef for a number of tastemakers, professional athletes, and dignitaries, including The Clinton Family. He has also consulted on operations and product development for organic food and lifestyle brands such as Skratch Labs, Brad’s Raw Foods, Little Duck Organics, and Big Tree Farms. He is a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and The Culinary Institute of America where he finished first in his class.

Most recently, Gabe won ABC’s primetime show The Taste where he was deemed America’s best undiscovered cook by Anthony Bourdain, Nigella Lawson, Marcus Samuelsson and Ludo Lefebvre.
