Dr. Barbara Casper
Dr. Barbara Casper completed medical school at the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences in Memphis, Tennessee. She subsequently completed training in internal medicine at UT-Chattanooga and was on the faculty there for twelve years before relocating to the University of Louisville. She is now a professor of medicine and the program director for internal medicine training at the University of Louisville as well as the Vice-chair of Education for the Internal Medicine Department. She is a Fellow in the American College of Physicians and has received numerous teaching awards. She received the University Distinguished Teaching Professor Award in 2007 and was elected to the Gold Humanism Society in 2008. She lives in Louisville, KY with her husband and is an avid runner.
