Dana Miller began her love affair with yoga in 1999, practicing Ashtanga at the NY Road Runners’ Club with yoga pioneer-ess Beryl Bender Birch. She received her 200 hour Vinyasa certification from NY Yoga in 2005 and her HOT Yoga certification in 2009. Dana mostly teaches privately, but teaches a weekly class near her day-job at Gotham Writers' Workshop to writers and friends of the written word. Her classes encourage students to open both their hamstrings and their hearts, to engage and surrender, all with a wink and a smile. Her motto: Walk thru your life heart first. Take the risk.
