Carolina (pronounced ‘Caroleeeeena’) went on a weight loss journey shortly after graduating from the University of Virginia in 2012 and became fascinated with all things health and fitness. Unfortunately, she took it to another extreme by putting herself through hours of exercise and calorie restriction, and found herself in the midst of a binging/purging cycle. After a wakeup call, Carolina decided to move and start a new chapter in New York City in order to pursue a career in wellness and meet like-minded professionals.

Now, she is focused on leading a life of balance, where she will partake in exercise that makes her happy, but will still indulge in the occasional fro-yo treat. She also recently became a NASM-certified personal trainer, is an avid practitioner of Pitaiyo (a Pilates, Tai-Chi, Yoga fusion with an emphasis on the Law of Attraction), and has started rock climbing at Brooklyn Boulders.
