It didn't take long for yoga to cast its spell on Ariel. After only a few years of practicing she decided to become a certified instructor to be able to share its healing qualities with others. Ariel is currently working at the National Alliance on Mental Illness coordinating their annual fundraising walk, NAMIWalks NYC. She also volunteers at the Ronald McDonald House in New York City teaching therapeutic yoga to children with pediatric cancer and their families. Additionally, Ariel is completing her training to become a lead instructor with Bent on Learning, a non-profit organization that brings yoga to public schools in New York City .
