Alexandra Shytsman is a Brooklyn-based recipe developer, writer, educator, food stylist and photographer. As the creator of the blog The New Baguette, her goal is to help others overcome common barriers to cooking at home. She received her bachelor's in english literature and women's and gender studies from CUNY Hunter College and also studied at the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts. She recently co-authored the Natural Gourmet Institute's debut cookbook, The Complete Vegan Cookbook.
