Spring has sprung, and so have dozens of new, natural products in the green beauty world. This month, food-as-beauty emerged as a theme with a true cross-category mix of makeup, fragrance, ritual objects, and treatments that launched in April. If you’re currently Kondo-ing your beauty cabinet, use this as a resource for ideas of spring and summer-appropriate swaps for your winter creams and oils.

Ellis Brooklyn West Eau De Parfum

A line of bodycare and fragrance developed by New York Times beauty columnist Bee Shapiro, Ellis Brooklyn is known for being one of the first modern fragrance lines with a nontoxic, Earth-friendly approach. West is her eighth original scent, a decidedly fresh and citrusy one that has an earthy dry-down, ideal for daytime wear that’s light and free but not too sweet.

As demand for cleaner, greener Korean beauty grows, so too does Glow Recipe’s namesake collection. This pineapple infused serum actually has pineapple at the top of the ingredient list, which means it’s chock-full of skin-clearing natural acids and enzymes from the fruit.

Lano Face Base Aussie Flyer Mask

This zingy leave-on face mask is excellent for dull, tired, or dehydrated skin—ideal, as its name implies, for jet lagged travelers or anyone in need of a boost. All candles are made with soy wax, pure cotton wicks, and essential oils.
