The transition from summer to fall can be difficult on the body. We're coming down from a season of warm weather, travel, and constant social interaction, and while the days are getting shorter, we haven't quite settled into the coziness and warmth of the end of the year.

Studies show that when we're feeling down or not quite ourselves, we're less likely to stand up straight and more likely to hunch over, rounding our backs and thus protecting our hearts. But as we get ready to embrace change, it's important to do so with our hearts wide open. And here's the good news: You can make that happen with only three poses.
