Get rid of toxic thoughts and foods.
As you embark on your spring cleaning for the soul, it’s important to feel calm and grounded. Ways to achieve this include:
- Yoga or Tai Chi
- A food cleanse
Take a good, hard look at who (or what) is taking up space in your life.
For those of us with a mandate to heal, grow and evolve, it's likely there are people around you who represent a version of your former self—people who are not able to keep up with your evolution. Ask yourself:
- Is there anyone taking up space in your internal closet who brings you down (a.k.a. Debbie Downers)?
- Is there a relationship in your life that is not flowing in the way you'd like? Perhaps you feel like you're giving more and the other person is not capable of reciprocating due to emotional limitations beyond your control?
If any of this applies to you, have compassion for these people. Have faith that when you let these people go or set an intention to keep your distance, you are creating space—for them and for you. You are making room for those that energetically match the NEW you to walk through the door.
Clear the emotional blockages from your chakras.
Is there a certain habit or relationship that you know intellectually is not serving you, but that for some reason you can’t seem to get out of? If so, you probably have some destructive emotions sitting in your chakras that are prohibiting you from energetically aligning with what you know mentally. It may seem esoteric, but if you clear out the energy blockages that are getting in your way, you will be able to let go of these habits with more ease.
Dust off those New Year’s resolutions.
Back in January, we talked about some awesome ways to live the life you want in 2013. Check in with yourself and see where you are at! No worries if you fell off the manifestation wagon: Just press the restart button and get on it, you still have 9 months left to go!
I hoped some of these spring cleaning tips worked for you, would love to hear how it goes!
