Triangle Pose: How-to, Tips, Benefits
In our beginner yoga pose series, Michael Taylor from Strala Yoga in New York City, demonstrates and gives us the scoop on Triangle Pose.
How-to: From a Warrior II, straighten your front leg, and follow your front hand forward then down to your shin or the floor. Reach your top arm straight up, and bring your body and legs in the same line.
Tips: Keeping both sides of your ribs equally long is easier if you start with your hand up on your shin, and gradually lower from there.
Benefits: Opens hips and thighs.
