Owner / Chef Amanda Cohen says, "Anyone can cook a hamburger, but leave the vegetables to the professionals." I may disagree about the hamburger, but one thing is for certain: Dirt Candy can even leave a die-hard carnivore asking for seconds. Everything on the menu of this tiny restaurant (18 seats) can be made vegan or vegetarian.

This 100% raw restaurant is not for the faint of heart. (Yes, nothing is heated above 118 degrees.) Pure Food & Wine is a great option for a raw & vegan fine dining experience. Come summer, they also have a beautiful outdoor garden. Be sure to try the dessert plates – we still can't believe there's no dairy. If you're lucky, maybe you'll run into Sarma Melngailis, the brains (and beauty) behind Pure.
