Twitter has become a major platform for the spiritual leaders of our generation. Guys like Russell Simmons, Deepak Chopra, and Paulo Coelho pop up in my feed multiple times per day. It’s fantastic, getting bite-sized wisdom delivered in 140 characters or less.
A week ago, I decided to play with an idea. What if historical gurus tweeted? Guys like Noah of the Ark, Confucius the Chinese philosopher, and Patanjali the father of yoga. What about Rumi, the Islamic mystic and poet, and Jesus? What would they sound like, who are their Tweeps, what issues would they address, and what would their Klout scores be?
This is a bit of an experiment, but we're about to find out...
