Natalie Portman and Tom Colicchio Raise Money to Help Hungry

Natalie Portman and Top Chef star Tom Colicchio are teaming up to help the hungry by hosting two fundraisers; one was just in New York City and the other will be in Los Angeles on Sunday February 28th.

Portman and Colicchio are working with FEED Projects and the FEED Foundation to raise money for The Hungry in America Project, a documentary film and multimedia campaign whose mission is to raise awareness about hunger in the United States. "What we’re trying to do is change the face of hunger," Colicchio said. "There is that idea of a child in Africa with flies around him. We want to change that perception."

Though the fundraiser for the Hungry in America Project in New York happened this past Sunday, if you're in Los Angeles this weekend you can still participate. Here are the details:

Sunday February 28th

Craft in Los Angeles, 10100 Constellation Blvd.

Tickets for Sunday night’s event are $250 for general admission and $1,000 for the VIP reception at 6 p.m.
