Olympic Playlists: What Our Winter Olympians Are Listening To

We've wrapped up our interviews with thirteen amazing Olympic athletes like Gold Medal winners Lindsey Vonn (pictured) and Hannah Kearney, now here's a wrap-up of what's on their playlists before they compete:

Lindsey Vonn - USA Alpine Skiing

"I have a pretty eclectic mix on my iPod, I’d say most of it is probably rap music, Jay Z, TI, Lil’ Wayne, that kind of thing but there is also the trendy top 20 pop, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake. Anything that has a good beat I’ll listen to."

Steven Nyman - USA Alpine Skiing

"Pearl Jam, Tool, Presets, something that has a hard energetic beat."

Hannah Kearney - USA Freestyle Skiing

"I listen to a mix of upbeat classic rock and current pop music. Van Morrison, Tom Petty, Akon, Tracy Chapman, Britney Spears, Peter Gabriel."

Kaylin Richardson - USA Alpine Skiing

"Anything with a beat. My mood deciphers the actual song. If I need to get revved up it will be something like Queen or Jay-Z. If I need to calm down and relax it might be Ben Folds or Morcheeba. I have a very eclectically crazy library of music with a little bit of everything to choose from."

Erin Hamlin - USA Luge

"I don't always listen to music right before I race, but when I do it can be anything from Dave Matthews Band to Matisyahu or Xavier Rudd...to name a random few. Or some killer '80s music. Really anything, its hard to list it all. Both inspirational/motivational stuff and chill stuff to help me relax."

Lindsey Jacobellis - USA Snowboarding

"I listen to a wide array of music including Shakira, Black Eyed Peas, Beatles, etc."

Kikkan Randall - USA Cross-Country Skiing

"I like to start off with something mellow and then build up the intensity closer to the start. Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean and Survivor’s Eye of the Tiger are a couple favorites."

Katherine Reutter - USA Speedskating

"Before I race I mostly need to relax. I don't like to listen to pump up music or else it gets my nerves going without having a plan. I listen to calmer music so that I can think of exactly what I need to do while having a relaxing distraction."

Gretchen Bleiler - USA Snowboarding

"It's always changing based on my moods, but right now I'm pretty into one of my hip hop mixes. Some of the fave tracks on the list are The Notorious B.I.G, Hypnotize, Outkast, Wheelz of Steel, Dead Prez, It's bigger than Hip Hop, The Roots, The seed."

Tim Jitloff, USA Alpine Skiing

"Rise Against, Faithless, Thrice, Army of the Pharaohs."

Bree Schaaf, USA Bobsled

"Journey's Greatest Hits"

Sarah Schleper, USA Alpine Skiing

"JJ Cale. Rolling Stones. Eminem. 50 Cent. MTHDS."
