Dalai Lama Speaks on Tiger Woods Apology

The Dalai Lama was asked about Tiger Woods' apology and he briefly commented, saying, "I think mainly whether you call it Buddhism or another religion, self-discipline, that's important. Self-discipline with awareness of consequences." He added that he didn't know who Tiger Woods was, and that self-discipline is among Buddhism's highest values and, when it comes to adultery, all religions "have the same idea."
