I'm generally never excited about doing laundry. Well, not until I discovered Method's new laundry detergent. (OK, maybe I'm not excited, but I'm certainly happier about it). Our friend and green living expert Danny Seo turned us onto the new detergent when we interviewed him earlier this month, saying:
Method Laundry is one of the greenest laundry detergents to be launched with a patented SmartClean, plant-based formula. It’s TINY! Instead of big, bulky wasteful jugs of watered down detergent, theirs can fit in your front pocket because it’s 8X concentrated. But it’s the cleaning formula I love; it works as well as the big non-green products because the cleaning molecules have been reversed. One of the guys who helped develop OxyClean worked on this for the past 2 years. And I love the fact its dispensing system is all precise pumps; no overdosing and no drippy caps!
If Danny loves the cleaning formula, I love that it's biodegradable, hypo-allergenic, and that it's so EASY to dispense. Previously I always found myself dispensing too much or too little detergent -- but Method solves this problem as it's clearly labeled that "4 Pumps = 1 Load" so I'm never left guessing.
Verdict: Eco-friendly plus ease-of-use makes this product a real winner.
Price: The 50-load bottle will run approximately $15 and the 25-load bottle runs $8-$10.
Where to Buy: Target is carrying it and it's also available online and at a number of retailers nationwide. Here's where you can find it.
