Danielle Walker has been living with a gut-related autoimmune disease for years now and lends her support to a whole community of people living with the same (and similar) diseases. She is the best-selling author of Against All Grain and has a new book out, Danielle Walker's Against All Grain Celebrations: A Year of Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, and Paleo Recipes for Every Occasion. In the clip below, Danielle opens up about why keeping a food journal was key in her recovery.

Through recording what she ate, she found that grains, legumes, and dairy were irritating while bone broth and fermented foods helped heal her gut.
