Dr. Samantha Boardman, positive psychology expert and psychiatrist, explains the latest research behind aging. New research out of San Diego confirms that the "grumpy old man" viewpoint of aging is a myth.

"We're all like fine wines. We actually are getting better with age, and life satisfaction increases as we get older." Even in the face of cognitive and physical disabilities, people are more patient, calm, and know what they like—all factors that contribute to happiness.
