Pro Baseball's Evan Longoria Does Yoga for Charity

Tampa Bay Devil Rays third-baseman Evan Longoria started practicing yoga three years ago. He's a big fan of inversions and says, "Doing the upside-down stuff is the most fun for me." And now he's hitting the mat to raise money for a local cancer center according to TampaBay.com.

Longoria is raising money for the Moffit Cancer Center in Tampa Bay by inviting fans to take yoga class with him for $100 at local studio, Bella Prana. He's holding the classes each month and is inviting up to 15 people per class.

Longoria tells MLB.com that this is just the beginning: "Hopefully at the end of the year, we are going to try to organize something where we can have a little bigger space, and hopefully invite more people."

Namaste to that!
