Perrey Reeves On Her Favorite Body Scrub, Happiness, And #Wellth

I’ve spent the past year thinking a lot about “wellth” — the idea that success is found in a lifestyle devoted to mental, physical, and emotional health. (I even wrote a book about it.) In this new series, we’re celebrating visionaries who embody what it means to be wellthy. 

You probably know Perrey Reeves from the HBO show Entourage, but here at mbg we know her as a yogi who has been eating an Ayurvedic diet for almost 20 years. She lives and breathes the mbg lifestyle and has even founded an eco-retreat center in Costa Rica, called The Sanctuary at Two Rivers.

What's your favorite way to escape to get some nature?

Sex with my husband.

IV Meyers cocktail.

How do you de-stress or practice self-care?

I go to Beverly Hot Springs in Los Angeles for a body scrub and care (they slather you with honey, milk, and cucumbers). It's heavenly.

What does wellth mean to you?

Waking up with excitement for the day.

Any advice for someone who's looking to build a life that they love and follow their passion?

Don't be afraid to get off of the path you are on (diet, career, relationship). Happiness takes fearlessness.
