I’ve spent the past year thinking a lot about “wellth” — the idea that success is found in a lifestyle devoted to mental, physical, and emotional health. (I even wrote a book about it.) In this new series, we’re celebrating visionaries who embody what it means to be wellthy. 

Rebecca Soni is a former Olympic swimmer who has SIX Olympic medals—three gold and three bronze! We met Rebecca through our dear friend Caroline Burckle, as they're collaborating to mentor young athletes through their RISE Athletes collaboration!

A local little Thai, veggie, hole-in-the-wall place called Happy Veggie.

What's your favorite way to escape to get some nature?

Day-hike—get lost in the trails until your legs burn; it's the best!

What's your favorite way to break a sweat?

Yoga.

Essential oils and massage.

How do you de-stress or practice self-care?

Writing in my journal.

Any advice you'd give yourself when you were competing?

Think for yourself and start questioning everything.

Wellth means redefining success and rewiring your beliefs to aim true to what you really want.

Any advice for someone who's looking to build a life that they love and follow their passion?

You gotta start somewhere; don't wait for something big or extreme. In fact, don't wait at all.
