Last month, we were thrilled when news broke that Michael Pollan will host his own Netflix docu-series this year. And now that its February 19 release date looms near, the streaming service has finally given us a tasty teaser of what's to come.
The latest installment of Pollan's food revolution is called Cooked, based on his 2013 book of the same name. The series will be split into four mini-documentaries, each based on one element used in cooking: fire, water, air and earth.
Each doc will feature the author and activist traveling around the world to explore how different cultures' primal connections to food have shifted over time.
The trailer takes viewers from a backyard fire pit to a factory farm, inviting us to rethink what we choose to put on our plates.
Check out the whole thing here, and get excited for a show you can actually feel good about binge-watching.
