Kevin Love Wins NBA's Most Improved Player: Credits Yoga

Kevin Love of the Minnesota Timberwolves just won the NBA's Most Improved Player Award. So what did Kevin do last summer that helped improve his game?


The Star Tribune reports that Kevin's hard work last summer, which included a yoga practice, paid huge dividends:

This time last year, Love brought a stack of papers detailing his summer workout plans to a season-ending exit meeting with Wolves boss David Kahn and coach Kurt Rambis. Each page detailed a week-by-week plan -- yoga, weightlifting, basketball -- designed to make him better.

I love that more basketball players are doing yoga. I definitely wish I had a practice back when I played.
