America Tops in Kindness and Obesity
Americans are more likely to volunteer time, give money and help a stranger than any other people on the planet, according to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. But they are also more likely to be overweight and die younger than average people in 29 industrialised countries... More than a third of the population is obese - the highest proportion in the world and twice the average of the 29 other industrialised countries that were included in the survey.
