Chrissy Teigen Celebrates Her Pregnancy Curves With This Instagram Photo

Chrissy Teigen has never shied away from speaking her mind — whether she's defending herself from nasty comments, getting honest about her fertility issues, or standing up for women as a whole. And with 3.9 million followers on Instagram, she knows that one post can make a big difference.

So, instead of using the platform to create the illusion of a "perfect" life, Teigen posts photos of real things that are going on in her life (and how she really feels about them) that other women can relate to.

And since she announced she was pregnant about a month ago, after a long struggle with fertility, she's been proudly posting pics of her pregnancy journey, clearly embracing the changes happening to her body. The latest in this series is a photo she posted on Friday, in which she's showing off her "new thighs."

In the image, the 29-year-old model is sprawled between two chairs in a bodysuit, pants-free (who needs 'em, anyway?), striking quite the dramatic pose.

“Hello new thighs! You appeared out of nowhere but I am not mad at it,” she wrote in the caption.

Chrissy is setting an empowering example for anyone who has insecurities about their bodies — particularly moms-to-be.

One mom commented, "this makes me feel so much better about my new thighs!! My body is changing in ways I didn't think it was possible. I swear I woke up and my thighs were doubled in size😖Thank you for posting this 😊 I'm 17 weeks preggos too!"

Keep 'em coming, Chrissy, and we'll keep applauding.
