A Cartoonist From Charlie Hebdo Urges The World Not To #PrayForParis
A cartoonist from Charlie Hebdo, Joann Sfar, posted a series of illustrations to his Instagram account Friday night that poignantly expressed his reaction to the horrific attacks on Paris, which left more than 100 people dead.
"The people who died tonight were outside to live, drink, sing. They didn't know that they had declared war."
"Those who love. Those who love life. In the end, they're the ones who win."
"Paris is our capital. We love music, drunkenness, joy."
"France is an old country where lovers kiss freely."
