Gabby Reece's Morning Protein Smoothie
When we talked with Gabby Reece on December 7th, Gabby shared her thoughts on diet, fitness, love (and her love for chocolate!), as well as her morning smoothie. Here's the scoop:
MindBodyGreen: What's in the protein smoothie?
Gabby Reece: I'll put in some maca (it's South American), as it acts like an energy booster -- sort of like caffeine, which I don't drink. Laird loves his espresso, but it's not for me. I'll also throw in muscle milk, some powdered greens, fruit, some peanut butter for fat content, and maybe some flax. The smoothie will get me through my workout up until my next meal, which I'll have around noon.
