Kanya Sesser is a surfer, a model, and a motivational speaker — and she was also born without legs.
She's come a long way since being adopted from an orphanage in Thailand at age 5. Now, at age 23, she makes $1,000 a day doing lingerie shoots, reports Caters News.
She made it her priority, ever since she was little, to not let her disability, well, disable her. So, instead of using a wheelchair, she'd use a skateboard to get around — which inspired in her a love of sports very early on. And at the age of 15, she started modeling for sports brands.
According to the Huffington Post UK, Sesser has apparently landed modeling jobs with Nike, Rip Curl Girl, and Billabong.
“I was mainly doing athletics shoots then as I got older I got into lingerie modelling," Sesser explained to Caters News.“It’s something fun and it shows my story — I’m different and that is sexy, I don’t need legs to feel sexy.
“I enjoy making money from it and I love showing people what beauty can look like. These images show my strength."
And strength she definitely has. She loves extreme sports and plans to compete in mono-ski in the Winter Paralympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, in 2018.
DAMN! is right.
